Join The City of Newton and members of D-FY and STAND during the July 17th “3rd Thursday Art Walk” event for chalk art activities downtown! We will be set up at the corner of W 6th and Main St!

Chalk bubble painting, Chalk & water fun, Chalk art free design, and Ice chalk painting.
Create with us on the Second Saturday of the month. Themed make and take creations will be provided every second Saturday through the year for ages 4-10. Free and open to the public. Donations always welcomed. Funded by the Ericka J. Stucky Scholarship Fund and various patrons. This month we will be crafting Fun Fish! Instructor Nicole Shannon will lead the creativity.
We are hosting a back to school event and providing free haircuts to ages 5-18 to help families prepare for the upcoming school year. There is no cost and no income guidelines.

Participate in the Teen Read Every Day Challenge to earn prizes, June 1-26! The goal? To read at least 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for a total of 800 minutes or more by the end of the summer! Those who log 800 minutes of reading (audiobook reading/listening counts!) will score a free ticket to the end-of-summer pool party, July 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Newton Municipal Pool!
TGA Central Kansas is a non-profit after school golf program across Wichita. This summer, we are excited to bring a fun, educational camp to Newton's Sand Creek Station led by trained, background-checked coaches. Open to beginners and young pros alike, ages 5-14.

Enjoy creating with legos and programming? Come enjoy Lego Camp with the Newton High School Robotics team! Join us July 29-August 2 in creating Lego robots to test their skills in the FIRST Lego League game for this year. Students ages 8-12 are eligible to participate!
